Seeing Our Town In Paris

imageLuxembourg Station

The platforms at Luxembourg Station in Paris, on the RER B Line, almost always have a special exhibition or display of some kind— sometimes on a particular artist or photographer, sometimes with a special theme. This one that we saw recently had an environmental theme, with energy use and conservation.

This huge board was one of a number highlighting energy use, especially lighting, in different continents. We found the one for North America and USA, and here Rod is pointing out our town in Illinois! Pretty amazing that on that huge board we could actually pinpoint our small university town.
