Lego Pastry and Pirates in Les Halles

Parts still under construction

Parts are now open

This patisserie is all Lego!

Paris: Forum des Halles

For a couple of years now in Paris we’ve been watching the change to the old Les Halles area and the construction of a whole new complex. It was/is a little bitter-sweet, as we always loved the former structures that looked like a series of angled mirrors. Anyway, the people of Paris voted and crews have been working on this new venture.

Passing through Paris a few weeks ago, we found that parts of the new Forum des Halles are now open, while construction still continues on other parts. It was a grey wet day, so one shop in particular caught our eye, as it was so colorful: the Lego shop.

A real patisserie in Concarneau, Brittany

We marveled at what amazing creations there are, all made of Lego! The best, we thought, was the Patisserie, which was very life-like.
